") document.write("Great price, compared to Nokia. The cable is handy if you have a large dialing directory or you want to keep multiple phones in sych.

The trick is to install the driver listed with the cable FIRST. Then download and install Nokia's PC Suite (currently version 6.6). You must run the downloaded file from a local disk (it didn't work when I had it on my network drive).

Windows treats the USB cable as a serial device, assigning it a "COM" number, like COM4. When you configure the cable in PC Suite, specify that it's a serial connection and specify the "COM" number.
